It can be used in all industrial applications requiring electronic measurement and control systems, such as power plants, metallurgical plants, water plants, sewage treatment plants, oil and gas production plants, and chemical production plants in process control. In fact, in the continuous or batch production process, the need to measure and control a variety of physical quantities, such as temperature, pressure, liquid level, flow, weight, speed and other occasions will be used to the analog signal isolator, isolation distributor, isolation distributor, temperature transmitter. After these physical parameters are accurately measured, although they are affected by external factors such as the atmosphere and installation, it must be ensured that the process of transmission from the field to the control room is not reduced or interfered. Transforming or transmitting these signals requires high-quality electronic systems that can adapt or resist harsh environments, such as temperature changes, electromagnetic interference, vibration, corrosion, or explosions.

What functions can an analog signal isolator provide?

One or more of the following:

1.Highly reliable isolation of DC signal measurement and control signals.

2.Convert various non-standard signals into standard signals, such0-5V input signal, converted to 4-20mA output signal.

3.A small signal from the sensor input, such as a thermocoupleThe mV signal is amplified, linearized, and converted into a large current signal output so that the signal will not attenuate after it can be transmitted over a distance of several hundred meters or even thousands of meters.

4.The relay contact alarm signal is generated by the analog input signal to complete the condition monitoring and alarm.

Why do we still need separate analog signal isolators today? Obviously, the control system (PLCandDCS) can perform some of the same functions.

1.This is true to some extent, but we note that these field devices (transmitters, sensors, valves and actuators)  Through the cable to be transmitted to a variety of places, usually they directly into the control room, but there are also a lot of signals to be transmitted to the local display and alarm, and they need to be isolated from each other.

2.Many sensors, such as thermocouple temperature sensors, often require isolation, conversion, and in-situ linearization before conversion to standard high-current signals (e. g.4-20mA) to adapt to long-distance transmission, so that it can replace the expensive thermocouple compensation wire to transmit to the control room.

3.If the control system itself does not have an analog input card with isolation function, it also needs to be isolated by an independent signal isolator.

4.When the control system cannot supply power to the sensor and transmitter, andIsolator, signal distributorThis can be done very conveniently.

5.If it is independent of the control system display, a highly integrated separate display is required.signal distributorThis can be done very conveniently.

6.When the factory operator needs to linearize the signal in situ, such as filling the material storage tank, a material volume indicator is required, but the measured signal is the level signal (the conversion of the level to the volume depends on the specific structure and shape of the storage tank).

7.The control system needs to be able to receive only4-20mAanalog signal input, but the sensor provides other unconventional signals,  Such0-20mV, 2-10V, 0-10kΩ, 0-1mA, 4-12KHz, 0-5A ac, etc. At this time, just addsignal isolation converterIt can be easily solved.

8.When the control system needs to be reliably isolated from electronic noise pulses superimposed on the analog input signal, the isolator can safely and reliably isolate it.

9.The increase in analog input signals means a new, expensive control system is required.I/O card, a cost-effectiveIsolatorExpansion can be easily achieved.
