Can SIS system use common relay?

The diagnostic coverage of ordinary relays is relatively low, and there is no fail safe related design and no self diagnosis function. Therefore, in some safety systems with low requirements, such as sil1, it may be used, but in SiL2 and above, the safety relay with high diagnostic coverage and self diagnosis function is usually used.
