Precautions for installing the isolation barrier:
1. The isolation barrier should be installed in a safe place, and the environmental conditions should meet the requirements of "use conditions" in "safety barrier selection sample.
2. The connection lines of the intrinsically safe end (blue end) and non-intrinsically safe end circuits of the isolation barrier shall be laid separately in the trunking, and each adopts independent protective sleeve. No other power cords are allowed in the wiring ducts on this side, including those used by their intrinsically safe circuits.
3. Intrinsically safe wires with blue signs shall be used for wires leading to hazardous locations. The soft copper area of the wire must be greater than 0.5 mm2, and the insulation strength should be greater than 500V.
4. Before the power-on commissioning of the isolated safety barrier, it is necessary to pay attention to whether the model, connection mode and line polarity of the isolated safety barrier meet the requirements in the design and product requirements, otherwise it may cause harm to people and equipment.
5. It is forbidden to use a megohmmeter to test the insulation strength between the terminals of the isolation safety barrier. If you want to check the insulation strength of the system, you should first disconnect all isolated safety barriers, otherwise the internal circuit of the safety barrier may be damaged. 6. Before programming the safety barrier on site, you must disconnect all wiring, then connect the programmer, and then power on for programming, otherwise it may cause adverse consequences.
7. The field instrument connected with the isolation safety barrier shall be the instrument that has passed the explosion-proof inspection of the relevant explosion-proof inspection department recognized by the state and obtained the explosion-proof certificate.
8. In the design, installation, use and maintenance of the isolation barrier, should also comply with the relevant requirements.
