1. Isolation safety barrier shall be installed in non-dangerous places. The cross-sectional area of soft copper wire leading to the site (dangerous places) shall be greater than 0.5 mm2, and the insulation strength of connecting wire shall be greater than 500V.
2. The circuit wiring of the intrinsically safe end (marked with blue) and the non-intrinsically safe end of the isolation barrier shall not be connected incorrectly or confused. Intrinsically safe conductors shall be marked in blue. Intrinsically safe and non-intrinsically safe conductors shall be laid separately in trunking with their own protective sleeves. On the intrinsically safe side of the isolation barrier, it is not allowed to be mixed with other power sources, including power sources for other intrinsically safe circuits.
3. When the isolation safety barrier and the primary instrument form an intrinsically safe explosion-proof system, the designated explosion-proof inspection agency must pass the inspection. DRG series safety barriers are given by the National Explosion Protection Inspection Center (CQST). Co and Lo distribution parameters are large allowable values relative to IIC (hydrogen level). 6. All field instruments connected to the isolation safety barrier shall be those that have been tested by relevant explosion-proof departments and obtained explosion-proof certificates.
7. If the internal module of the isolation barrier is damaged and needs to be repaired or replaced, it should be borne by the manufacturer in principle. The user should follow the relevant precautions in the self-maintenance process, and the specific method should be carried out according to the maintenance chapter (the maintenance of intrinsically safe instruments is limited to the specified scope, and other maintenance should be discussed with the manufacturer). After maintenance, it can be put into operation again, and it is not allowed to change the parts or structures that affect the explosion-proof performance.
8. The installation, use and maintenance of the isolation safety barrier shall strictly comply with the relevant provisions of GB 3836.152000 "Electrical Equipment for Explosive Gas Atmosphere Part 15: Electrical Installation in Hazardous Places (Except Coal Mine).
9. The isolation safety barrier should be reliably grounded, the grounding resistance is not more than 4, and the grounding wire resistance is not more than 1.
